Gurgaon-based mobile marketing and rewards portal Skrilo has secured US$1.5 million in funding from a clutch of angel investors. The group includes former Google employee and co-founder and CEO of Livspace Anuj Srivastava, and Arvind Tiku of AT Capital Group.
Available as a mobile app on Google Play, Skrilo gives customers chances for a lucky draw in return for consuming marketing content. The more promotions watched, the more chances they have to win.
Skrilo was founded last year by Manish Sinha and Gaurav Singh. Manish graduated from BITS Pilani and got his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Gaurav previously worked with companies including Adobe Systems and Infosys.
